In June 2010, the project was presented simultaneously in London and New York. On this side of the Atlantic, 21 street pianos were placed throughout the ‘square mile’ and beyond, located in public gardens, streets and squares to celebrate the City of London Festival. Like a creative blank canvas, the pianos were there for any member of the public to play and engage with. See what happened in New York.
