Belfast, Ireland – Public Pianos – 2010

From the 14th to the 28th of August 2010, 10 Streetpianos were distributed across the streets of Belfast. Located in public parks, streets and squares, the pianos were available for any member of the public to play and enjoy.  The pianos have been rescued, restored to working order and decorated by local artists, community groups and charities, all of whom have offered their time for free. This is the first time the artwork has been presented in Ireland.
