The City of Luxembourg and the Luxembourg City Tourist Office presented Play Me, I’m Yours for its very first edition in Luxembourg from 7 to 21 June 2014. 16 street pianos – one of them mobile – invaded public spaces across Luxembourg’s capital city bringing joy to both inhabitants and visitors. The street pianos, decorated by youth community groups and schools, were located in municipal parks, streets and squares for anyone to play and enjoy, thus creating a participatory and spontaneous ambience! Amateurs as well as professional musicians were welcome to improvise micro-concerts. Finally, after the event, the pianos were donated to not-for-profit community groups, schools or youth associations.
